What's in Their Pockets? (Post-Apocalyptic) d20

 Here is TWO random tables written entirely by me, with no help from others. Well, other than the giants whose shoulders I stand on...

In any case, both tables use a d20. The genre is post-apocalyptic. One is for "normal" things you'd find in pockets, and the other is for rare and/or weird things.

What's in Their Pockets? (Post-Apocalyptic)


Basic Pocket Items (d20)

Roll 1-3 times.

1: Knife & sharpener
2: Multitool
3: Shiny candy wrapper
4: Squirrel skull
5: Handful of ammunition
6: Old photograph
7: Handful of useless currency (bills and/or coins)
8: Keychain with 1d10-1 keys (can be zero), 2 in 6 chance any given key is for something that still exists
9: Tiny sewing kit (thimble, needle & thread in a box)
10: Compact water filtering device
11: Windable pocket watch
12: Reading glasses in a case
13: Ball of cord / string / rope
14: Firestarter (tinderbox, lighter, etc.)
15: Bag of dried fruit
16: Bag of jerky, meat unknown
17: Bandages
18: Crank powered radio
19: Pack of cards
20: Roll on Rare and/or Weird table

Rare and/or Weird Pocket Items (d20)

1: Working smartphone, fully charged (no signal, but there are apps)
2: Bullet garden (biotech device that "grows" bullets, needs to be fed meat)
3: Cybernetic eye, intact, some dried blood on the outside
4: Derringer-sized plasma pistol, battery fully charged, untranslatable script on the side
5: Impossibly small human skull (not a baby skull)
6: Tiny folding setup to charge batteries with solar power, very efficient, smells of brimstone when operated
7: Pocket Bible with bulletproof cover, contains one extra book in the New Testament seemingly written in 2020
8: Pocket-sized demonic grimoire, in both Latin and English (alternating pages)
9: Derringer-sized biotech pistol, feeds on blood to regenerate thornlike ammo
10: Little black box containing an AI, can talk and hear, power source unclear
11: A battery that doesn't run out (miniature fusion engine?)
12: Working solar-powered GPS device, map is eerily up-to-date
13: Hologram projector showing the face of one of the PCs, power source unclear
14: Miniature jar containing the embryo of an extraterrestrial
15: Doll-sized set of ritual magick tools in a candy tin, knife is actually sharp, candle actually works, etc.
16: Collapsable grappling hook, can create its own rope, mechanism unclear (might run out eventually?)
17: Working flashlight that creates darkness instead of light, solar powered, brand name scratched off
18: Personal force shield, clips onto belt, must enter correct PIN on keypad on side of device to use, battery fully charged
19: Electronic sword hilt, push button to extend plasma blade, can be recharged with crank attached to bottom of hilt
20: GM choice or roll twice
